General The NFS2-640 intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panel is part of the ONYX® Series of Fire Alarm Controls from NOTIFIER. In stand-alone or network configurations, ONYX Series products meet virtually every application requirement. The NFS2-640’s modular design makes system planning easier. The panel can be configured with just a few devices for small building applications, or networked with many devices to protect a large campus or a high-rise office block. Simply add additional peripheral equipment to suit the application. A host of other options are available, including single- or multichannel voice; firefighter’s telephone; LED, LCD, or PC-based graphic annunciators; networking; advanced detection products for challenging environments; wireless fire protection; and many additional options. NOTE: Unless called out with a version-specific “E” at the end of the part number, “NFS2-640” refers to models NFS2-640 and NFS2-640E; similarly, “CPU2-640” refers to models CPU2-640 and CPU2-640E.

The Notifier FSP-851 intelligent plug-in smoke detectors with integral communication provide features that surpass conventional detectors.  Detector sensitivity can be programmed in the control panel software.  Sensitivity is continuously monitored and reported to the panel.  Point ID capability allows each detector’s address to be set with rotary, decimal address switches, providing exact detector location for selective maintenance when chamber contamination reaches an unacceptable level.  The FSP-851 photoelectric detector’s unique optical sensing chamber is engineered to sense smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources.
